Website terms of use

The rules for using the Ferrolo website, our content and our intellectual property.

Last updated 29 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Ferrolo website at ferrolo.com and the content on it. By using the website, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These terms cover the website only. Our products (Assay, Lesson Diary, Bezelia and Iris) are governed by their own terms, which apply when you use them.

2. Who we are

Crown Student Consultancy (CSC) UK Ltd, trading as Ferrolo, is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14324057), with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZC265399. You can reach us at hello@ferrolo.com.

3. Using our website

You may use the website for lawful purposes only. In particular, you must not:

  • use the website in any way that breaks any law or regulation;
  • use it to send unsolicited advertising or spam;
  • knowingly introduce viruses or any other harmful material;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system;
  • scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or personal data from the website;
  • use the website in a way that damages, disables or impairs it or anyone else's use of it;
  • copy, reproduce, resell or exploit any part of the website except as these terms allow.

4. Our content and intellectual property

All content on the website, including text, design, graphics, logos, images and code, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trade mark and other rights. Ferrolo, the Ferrolo maker's mark and the names of our products are our trade marks.

You may view the website and print or download pages for your own reference. You must not otherwise copy, modify, distribute, republish or use our content without our written permission.

If you send us feedback, ideas or suggestions, you give us a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction and without payment to you.

5. What our website is and is not

The website is a general introduction to our company and services. It is not advice of any kind, including legal, financial or professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.

Nothing on the website is an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract is formed between us by your use of the website. Descriptions of our services and products are indicative and may change. Any examples, figures or case studies are illustrative and are not a promise of a particular result.

7. Availability of the website

We provide the website on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it at any time and without notice.

We do not promise that the website will be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or harmful code. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure, but you should use your own virus protection.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. In particular, nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • we exclude all conditions, warranties and representations, whether express or implied, that are not set out in these terms;
  • we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill, data or anticipated savings;
  • our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the website is limited to £100.

Because the website is provided free of charge, we consider these limits reasonable. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer where they apply.

9. Your indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any loss, liability, claim, cost or expense (including reasonable legal costs) that we suffer as a result of your misuse of the website or your breach of these terms.

10. Privacy and cookies

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data and how we use cookies. It forms part of these terms and should be read with them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms at any time by publishing the updated version on the website. The version in force when you use the website applies to that use. The date at the top of the page shows when these terms last changed.

12. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it.

You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights to another business. These terms are between you and us, and no other person may enforce them.

These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about the website.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings in any country to protect our intellectual property or to recover money owed to us.

Something in these terms you'd like us to explain?

Write to us and a person will reply, usually the same working day.
